Dr. Appointment

Ever since Marissa was born she has had a problem with acid reflux. Most babies do, but hers has been extreme and very scary at times! While in the hospital there where 3 or 4 times that she choked so much she turned blue. They had to suction out her stomach. Once we were home we have had the same problems. The 1st week we had to watch her 24/7. We took shifts through the night. She wouldn't make any noise, she would just start choking and turning colors. My biggest scare was when I was driving to the store and heard her gasping for air. By the time I got to her this is what I found. It even comes out her nose. Poor thing!
After this week of her still struggling, I took her back to the doctor today. They put her on medication that I hope helps. He said that she should eventually grow out of it. I hope so!
She weighed 9lbs. 4oz. today (she will be 4 weeks on Saturday). She has gained 2 lbs. since she was born.

She is such a sweet happy baby! We LOVE HER!
