ST. GEORGE — An endangered person advisory has been issued for a 6-year-old autistic boy last seen at 7:30 p.m. Saturday by his mother.
A release issued by the police department said the boy, Zachary Bello, was last seen at his home wearing a diaper but may also be wearing yellow "SpongeBob" shoes.
The boy, who also goes by the nickname "Buddy Man," has very short brown hair in a buzz cut and blue eyes. He is 3 feet tall and weighs 40 pounds.
Police say he is nonverbal because of the autism.
All through the night there where people out looking through our complex. It was tuff trying to put the girls to bed, when every few minutes we could hear voices yelling, "Zac...where are you Zac?" But it was a good teaching moments. I hugged my girls a little closer tonight!
